JC Gomez on alleged suspension!

"I have still not received any official word from the German Boxing Federation or Universum," says Juan Carlos Gómez regarding reports of a one-year suspension handed down in Germany. "Considering I have spoken with Mr. Klaus-Peter Kohl himself in recent days and no mention was made of me being suspended in Germany, this is all very odd."
The Cuban born heavyweight has been at the center of reports regarding a positive drug test following his bout with Oliver McCall on October 15 and allegations of the possibility of his suspension in Germany.
"I am not worried, I am here in Los Angeles, California, relaxing and waiting to clear some immigration issues with the United States government. The minute I get my immigration papers from the United States, I am on my way to Germany. These rumors are an attack on my character and I will not stand for them."
Universum, Gomez's promoter, presented a card this past Saturday featuring heavyweight contender featuring Ruslan Chagaev. Juan Carlos is not impressed by Chagaev, the so-called, White Tyson. "That man is a stiff, I would beat him and all the other heavyweights Universum has in one day," commented Gómez.
The fire and brimstone kept coming from the Black Panther, but this time, directed at Fres Oquendo. "I hear Oquendo is coming back. I have a good memory and a few years ago he was running his mouth, talking a lot of {expletive}. Hey Fres, you are promoted by DiBella now, if you want me, we can do it on the under card of Taylor and Wright. Cuba verses Puerto Rico and I'll leave you in splinters."
"I am in good shape, I have been training and want to return to the ring as soon as possible."
