Boxingscene has investigated a recent report in an overseas paper regarding the possible drugging of Wladimir Klitschko prior to the Lamon Brewster bout this past week. Wladimir has complained that by the second round he was getting extremely weak and not in an out of shape way. We have confirmed through several sources that there may indeed be some fire to this smoke that is rising over the alleged drugging.
“Even after the fight Wladimir could not speak like he was on a tranquilizer” one close source disclosed to me. “He couldn’t talk couldn’t speak like he was totally paralyzed”
“The entire issue seems to revolve around some problems that occurred in the dressing room prior to the fight” this from another source close to the camp.
We have also learned that a film made in the dressing room unbeknownst to anyone shows suspicious activity connected to liquid that was later ingested by Klitschko.
The sudden odds changing from 11-1 to 4-1 with big bet activity in the last hour prior to the fight is also leading to further testing of Wladimir and some questions being asked.
Mark Ratner of the Nevada State Athletic Commission verified that additional blood work had been done above just the one that showed a blood sugar problem.
“Yes, additional blood work was done but, no formal protest has been submitted. To date no formal protest is lodged”
Though no formal protest has been lodged our sources reported
“We have the proof; it will be out in a few days”
When asked directly if they thought someone may have slipped Wladimir something the answer was an emphatic
“Yes, we have the proof of it now”
We contacted Mario Rivera of the WBO stated that
“We have received no formal protest as yet from the Klitschko Camp and of course we must receive one before anything can be done.”
We asked what the steps would be if a protest was filed
“As soon as a protest is received the Championship committee of which I am not a member will study the merits of the demand and take it from there”
Our sources made no reference to alleged perpetrators at this time but news will be coming soon they have promised.
No reference was made to who was seen on the tape or to who is suspected of involvement.

Verschwunden sind wohl die, die WK am nächsten Tag abgegeben hat bzw. der athletic commission of nevada liegen keine weiteren Proben vor.
